(A popular theory suggests that after founding the city, Quli Qutb Shah fell in love with and married a local Banjara girl known as Bhagmathi or Bhagyavathi naming the city, Bhagyanagaram. Upon her conversion to Islam, she changed her name to Hyder Mahal and thus the city was named Hyderabad)

Oooooo did you eat lots of biryani? I miss hyd. Lived there for a long time once upon a time. Golconda was not so bad when I was around. It was pretty well maintained. I love the old city too but traffic can kill there. Enjoy !

Hyderabad.. love the city. I have such lovely memories of it. It is so much cheaper than Bangalore and yet far better . Not sure if you are interested in Museums, but Salarjung is worth visiting. Thought I shall mention just in case you missed it!

Oh yeah I have been there before.I remember the jewels(of course) and that human clock thing..
It is def cheaper than Mumbai in terms of rent.

I love cities that have forts/history and/or sea or at least some kind of water body. Then WTF am I doing in Bangalore? I have no clue. No ulsoor lake doesn’t count.
